New York, New YorkJob DescriptionPrimary Responsibilities & OpportunityOur firm has an opening for a Senior Business Development Manager, who will be part of the global marketing and business development team supporting the Litigation practice. This position can be based in any of our offices.With the support of colleagues across the platform, including a full-time Specialist dedicated to the role, Senior Business Development Manager will be responsible for:Working with lawyers in assigned practices, individually and as groups, to develop, implement and execute business development plans, initiatives and activitiesCreating, customizing and updating pitch materials, directory submissions and other marketing content to ensure they are well-written and positioned appropriately towards target audiencesMonitoring business, legal and geopolitical news to identify strategic opportunities for individual partners and practice groupsPlanning, executing and conducting follow up as appropriate from client events and webinars, as well as other thought leadership campaignsServing as the business development lead for onboarding and integration of assigned lateral partnersOther duties as assignedQualificationsCandidate should have a bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field, with a minimum of eight years of relevant experience in professional services or law firm business development. Exceptional interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills are critical to success as are collegial, collaborative and team player attributes.Candidate must be a self-starter who thrives on juggling numerous high visibility projects on fast timetables and can handle high-pressure environments.
