About this position:

Provides loan portfolio management and credit administration support to the Corporate Banking Group and Credit Department. Responsible for maintaining databases, updating and generating reports, and performing administrative tasks in support of Credit Administration, Corporate Banking, and Small Business Banking Departments. Evaluates the financial condition and banking relationship of individuals and businesses applying for credit.

Responsibilities

> Track financial statements for all commercial relationships for both Glens Falls National and Saratoga National Banks.

> Prepare, update, and distribute critical reports for department, group, and customer interactions on weekly, monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual bases as appropriate.

> Perform credit underwriting functions for smaller borrowers; assist team members with larger relationships as needed.

> Monitor leans for risk rating changes; complete confirmations form accountants for customers; provide quality customer service both on telephone and in person.

> Administer and maintain credit files, pull credit reports, generate loan and deposit summaries, perform credit verifications, and file documents in credit files in timely manner.

> Collaborate with internal nCino staff for adoption, transition, and utilization of new LOS system for various credit tasks and functions under direction of Credit Manager and Senior Credit Manager.

> Coordinate meetings including scheduling rooms and distributing materials to participants.

Education/Certifications:

> Associate degree in accounting, finance or related field or equivalent experience preferred

> 3 years of experience in credit analysis or related field preferred

Skills/Knowledge:

> Strong organizational skills with ability to handle multiple tasks and effectively prioritize workflow

> Solid communications skills, both written and verbal; ability to interact with customers and co-workers to provide quality service

> Proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook; experience with Access and PowerPoint a plus

> Effective analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail and accuracy required

Physical Demands

> Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time and walk/stand for brief periods of time.

> Must be able to repetitively use a telephone and computer mouse and keyboard.

> Ability to lift/move up to 15 lbs.

The salary range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00 commensurate with experience and education.

Additional compensation may be earned through the Companys profit-sharing bonus program, subject to individual and company performance.
