Role Overview:
As a Culinary Specialist, your role encompasses a variety of tasks related to food preparation, service, and the upkeep of dietary equipment and supplies in a hygienic manner.
It is essential to possess a comprehensive understanding of the operations within an Assisted Living Community, including adherence to regulatory standards. A genuine passion for working with seniors and a commitment to leading by example as a collaborative team member is crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare meals in accordance with established menus.
- Assemble and distribute meal trays to residents following community guidelines and serve meals in the dining area.
- Conduct daily and periodic sanitation tasks, including dishwashing, cleaning appliances, maintaining physical spaces, floors, and completing specific cleaning assignments as per community standards.
- Support the efficient functioning of the department by demonstrating reliability in job performance.
- Exhibit dedication to the Mission, Vision, and Values of Inspirit Senior Living.
- Work collaboratively with all staff to ensure the safety and security of all residents, visitors, and employees within the community.
