The Financial Analyst will play a key role in developing and maintaining key aspects of Carvana’s first-of-its-kind automobile lending platform. What you’ll be doing Play a critical role in driving analytics and strategy within our auto lending business. Develop and maintain complex pricing and risk models. Collect and analyze data on the latest trends in the auto finance market for incorporation into strategic decision-making. Evaluate and identify meaningful patterns and trends and provide ongoing reports and recommendations to the business. Prepare and maintain financial reporting packages. Other duties as assigned. What you should have/know Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Quantitative Finance or related field. Goal-oriented, enthusiastic, self-motivated with the ability to interact and communicate with all levels of the organization. Advanced knowledge of Excel and SQL. Experience building dashboards via data visualization tools (i.e. Tableau). Understanding and interest in the financial markets and risk modeling. Knowledge of statistics and regression analysis. Background in lending, consumer lending, credit cards, auto loans, student loans, or mortgages is preferred. Introductory programming course (i.e. Python) completion is preferred.
