Purpose: Financial Operations Analyst
We are looking for a self-motivated Financial Operations Analyst to provide accurate and data-based information. You should possess excellent analytical skills, along with the ability to combine different data sets, research and analyze profit margins, and create detailed reports that will help the company make well-informed decisions regarding profitability.

Responsibilities
  • Gather, analyze, and report on financial profit margin data
  • Prepare detailed reports, both periodically and ad-hoc
  • Review standard costs and investigate variances with actual costs
  • Monitor changes in processes or methods to calculate effects on overall costs
  • Work with Data Analysts and others to develop reports and construct appropriate data accumulations systems
  • Develop financial profitability models and conduct process analysis
  • Identify trends and consult with management and others to guide and influence long term and strategic decision making within the broadest scope
Education/Experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis in Excel
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting or similar field preferred
  • 3-5 years experience preferred as a financial analyst, cost analyst or similar role
