Responsibilities About the Role: You as the Manager Operations - CLS will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of the Commercial Servicing Department. In addition to providing day-to-day leadership to the team, you will be responsible for constantly reviewing processes to identify improvements, providing feedback to management staff, ensuring the dealerships are receiving excellent customer service and appropriate support, and providing sign-off on process exceptions. As a successful Manager, you will also be highly involved in department projects and have contact with dealership staff, internal company departments, and insurance companies. In this role you will: Ensure the dealership is provided with excellent and prompt customer service and that customer (GM, GMF, and dealer) issues are resolved quickly. Ensure credit lines are monitored according to set timeframes and recommend account level temporary and interim permanent credit line increases. Provide sign-off on dealer exceptions to floorplan line, credit lines, and cash management accounts. Ensure reporting is reviewed daily to identify pre-determined red flags. Ensure payments are remitted timely by dealerships. Perform administration of the wholesale credit lines including, portfolio and account level analysis. Oversee the management of the insurance program. Implement policy and procedures appropriate to the commercial lending servicing process and participate in system testing. Create and foster an efficient team through continuous communication, timely feedback, and appropriate supervisory practices. Define performance expectations, establish goals and standards, write performance evaluations, and conduct counseling sessions. Qualifications What makes you a dream candidate? Understanding of commercial lending with emphasis in captive automotive dealership financing. Must possess knowledge of financial documents related to commercial lending. Detail oriented and capable of managing multiple opportunities simultaneously. Possess the ability to lead by example and to motivate a team to reach a common goal. Ability to make sound business decisions based on policies and procedures. Strong verbal and written communication skills including interpersonal skills. Ability to constructively coach and develop team members. Excellent customer service skills. Proficient in process improvement and development practices. Experience Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience preferred. 2-4 years in a management role, providing leadership, coaching, guidance and training and contributing to staff development preferred. 3-5 years of directly related professional level experience in an automotive commercial loan environment, including experience in creating and presenting ideas to executive management preferred.
