Purpose of Role:

This role is primarily responsible for assisting the Global Process Owner Supply Chain with the design, development & deployment of leading supply chain planning tools and management system in line with the Minerals Division overall lean program.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination of key design decisions, optimization and implementation of the approved solution to ensure Customer Success, experienced in supporting Sales Inventory Operations & Planning and related processes with focus on continuous improvement. Responsible for creating the required business data reporting and analysis utilizing knowledge of ERP and other system applications, financial tools and approved software platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Emphasizes and advocates for the customer, based on validated research, academic knowledge, and domain experience. Knowledgeable about optimization concepts Identifies and validates opportunities with the team for impactful solutions. Research and design usable and intuitive solutions for products / services to solve customers’ problems that align with targeted business opportunities. Collaborates with cross-functional teams across the enterprise in solving critical business needs.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science/engineering, or a related field, and a minimum of 5 to 8 years of gathering and analyzing requirements and designing software prototypes to support product development. Ability to operate in an ambiguous environment with a curiosity and can-do attitude towards new technologies and a strong desire to learn so that the team may benefit. Good communication and collaboration skills in working with cross-functional global teams. Experience with supply chain planning, inventory optimization, demand forecasting, and/or supply planning, as well as material requirement planning (MRP) software products. Working knowledge of SAP ERP will be an asset. High degree of initiative, self-motivation, and ability to work autonomously. Experience implementing SaaS supply chain digital tools (Coupa, Kinaxis, etc.) Supply Chain domain certification (APICS, CPIM, CSCP) Knowledge about API design standards, patterns, and best practices to create robust and performing integrated systems.
