Responsibilities What you will be doing… Reporting to the Academic Chair, School of Trades and Transportation, and under the direct supervision of the Metal Fabrication program Faculty, you will provide laboratory/shop, program and administrative support for the Pathways to Shipbuilding program. You will maintain the laboratory/shop by managing the lab/shop environment, media and/or equipment preparation, and maintenance of the inventory system for lab/shop supplies. Additionally, you will assist with lab/shop demonstrations; provide administrative preparation for the lab/shop, assist with technology needs, including computers; and work with students, Faculty and staff in a laboratory/shop setting. You will also assist in classroom and lab/shop demonstrations and prepare projects and mock-ups in advance of the need. You will assist Faculty with the safe operation of tools and equipment and safe work practices. Additional Information Candidates selected for interviews will be expected to provide at least three recent, occupational references.
