Revenue Manager - Edtech - SaaS
Role & Responsibilities include
Lead a team of billing specialists overseeing the complete order-to-cash cycle and accurate revenue reporting under relevant accounting standards.
Develop and analyze budgets and forecasts, generating insightful reports and collaborating across departments to optimize revenue processes and controls.
Drive organizational growth and scalability through initiatives that enhance revenue operations.
Manage billing, collections, commissions, and sales taxes.
Lead monthly revenue and accounts receivable close.
Prepare and analyze monthly management reports.
Build and maintain budgets and rolling forecasts.
Manage customer database and handle disputes.
Serve as revenue subject matter expert and collaborate across teams.
Work with external auditors on revenue recognition and controls.
Manage and coach the revenue accounting team.
Support ad hoc projects and drive positive changes.

Your Experience and Skills
Business degree in accounting or finance (required).
In-depth knowledge of relevant revenue recognition standards (required).
CPA highly preferred.
5-10 years of experience in accounts receivable, financial accounting, or budget and forecasting, with at least 3 years in revenue accounting and management.
Demonstrated expertise in revenue recognition, reporting, and forecasting (industry experience preferred).
Strong understanding of order-to-cash processes and best practices.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and accurate with the ability to prioritize and work under pressure.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Team player with a flexible and positive attitude.
Sage Intacct (or similar), Salesforce, and advanced Excel are preferred
