**JOB SUMMARY**: Results-driven professional who leads sales activities of the organization, performing the following duties personally and/or through direct reports. Understands the market, customers, competitors, products, and services within the sites scope and translates the knowledge into strategy and plans that ensure profitable growth in line with company goals. Coaches the team and provides guidance on the execution of profitable growth strategies.

**JOB DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:**

Responsible for developing the sales strategy to support the division's 5-year plan.

Understands the market position of competition and CSMI value against those competitors.

Responsible for the management of accounts receivables. This includes mitigating past due accounts and preventing bad debt write-offs.

Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.

Establishes stable relationships with strategic customers and prospects within the division business parameter and territory sales parameter. Has a good knowledge of customer expectations compared to the performance of the site.

Delivers sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives.

Meets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.

Responsible for their team's compliance with internal SOPs.

Analyzes and controls expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements.

Maintains a six month forecast and participates in inventory discussions to ensure product procurement and production

Directs product simplification and standardization to eliminate unprofitable items from sales line.

Actively closes performance gaps to ensure industry-leading customer satisfaction levels.

Uses data and analytics to drive decision making.

Considers the market conditions of their territory, customer needs, company objectives, and their territory goals in their daily decision making and applies sound judgment in their relative decision making.

Leads Process Improvement Teams (PIT) cross functionally.

Responsible for staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales strategy and execution.

Assigns sales territory to sales representatives, coaching them in their activities and results.

Responsible for representing the voice of the customer to their division and training employees on the customer's needs.

Responsible for ensuring that their team has the product and installation knowledge to support sales strategies.

Responsible for ensuring that customer pricing is accurately set to support division strategy

Directs development activity and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.

Advises team and customers on sales and advertising techniques to support strategic growth plans.

Reviews and approves trips for salespeople before travel occurs.

Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:**

Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.

Exposure: Project management, continuous improvement, and problem solving skills

Required skills: Microsoft Office and CRM systems
