Responsibilities:
- Recruit, screen, and interview potential candidates for all open positions
- Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they have all the information and resources they need to be successful
- Maintain employee files and records
- Handle employee relations issues, including disciplinary actions and performance management
- Stay up to date on employment laws and regulations
- Support with workers' compensation claims
- Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies & procedures
- Provide support to managers on HR-related matters
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a generalist HR role
- Strong understanding of HR principles and practices
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for senior care and a commitment to providing excellent service
