The Sales Executive will be accountable for devising and implementing sales strategies aimed at acquiring new business, nurturing robust customer relationships, and advocating for value-added solutions in the injection molding industry. This role will focus on expanding the customer base, dedicating roughly 80% of their time to this effort, while also allocating about 20% of their time to nurturing existing client relationships. This role will involve extensive nationwide travel, approximately 35% of their working hours.

Position Requirements

A bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of two years of outside sales experience is required. Plastics Manufacturing experience is preferred. A valid driver's license and the ability to be covered under the Company's automobile insurance are required.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Develop, plan, and execute sales strategies focused on acquiring and closing new business, aligning with the company's growth objectives. Research and analyze available information to identify new business opportunities and market segments, staying informed about industry trends and customer needs. Identify and initiate contact with prospective clients and market segments, employing effective selling techniques to convert leads into customers. Devise outreach plans and employ effective selling techniques to close sales, utilizing a mix of in-office and on-the-road sales calls. Attend or participate in sales events, meetings, speaking engagements, seminars, and trade shows to promote the company's products/services and expand the customer base. Assist in ensuring that all leads are actively followed up on, maintaining a proactive approach to lead management. Establish, build, and maintain strong relationships with strategic customers, serving as the main point of contact between potential clients and internal teams such as engineering, quality, and manufacturing. Proactively manage and grow a pipeline of new business opportunities, ensuring a healthy sales pipeline to meet revenue targets. Sell value-added services and solutions to customers, positioning the company as a trusted partner in meeting their needs. Introduce new materials to customers, educate them on use and applications, and develop proposals, contracts, and agreements to secure long-term business relationships.
