Accounting Manager
THE OPPORTUNITY
The Griffin Groupe is seeking qualified accounting professionals for an Accounting Manager position with our client in the healthcare industry.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
CPA or CPA candidate
PowerBI experience
Experience in Healthcare Billing System
ADP experience
RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee daily operations of accounting department
Train accounting staff on Dynamics GP and best practices
Review and approve Journal Entries
Manage Month End, Quarter End, & Year End Close
Manage annual audit or reviewed financials
Update & maintain monthly closing checklist & quarterly review schedules
Prepare Monthly Financials and Quarterly Rollforwards
Design and document accounting policies and procedures for Dynamics GP
Understand and improve accounting processes
Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS
Assist with conversion of accounting system from QuickBooks to Dynamics GP, and transaction testing
Manage special projects related to process automation
REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or Finance from an accredited school
4 years of experience in related field
Strong written and communication skills
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Team management skills
Ability to prioritize work
Sound knowledge of GAAP
Microsoft Suite (Excel)
Report Writing
Experience with Accounting Software
QuickBooks
Microsoft Dynamics GP (Experience Required)
Lightning Step
Salesforce
CB&T Treasury Management
Expensify
