The Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Accounting Supervisor to join our team in Irvine. This role will oversee and lead a team of Business Unit (BU) accountants, focusing primarily on billing, revenue recognition, and project reconciliation activities.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


· Lead and supervise a team of 3 Business Unit accountants, providing guidance and support.

· Manage the billing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of invoices.

· Oversee revenue recognition procedures in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

· Perform project reconciliations to ensure financial data integrity and project profitability analysis.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Project Management, Sales, and Operations to resolve accounting issues and enhance processes.

· Prepare financial reports related to project accounting and provide insights to senior management.

· Ensure compliance with internal controls and assist with audits as necessary.

Minimum Requirements:


· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required; CPA preferred.

· Proven experience (8+ years) in project accounting, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.

· Strong understanding of billing processes, revenue recognition principles (ASC 606), and project costing.

· Experience with SAP preferred.

· Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complicated financial data.

· Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and meeting deadlines.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate across teams.

· Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

· Bilingual Communication: Fluently speak, read, and write in both English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with customers, team members, and stakeholders in a professional setting.


Work Location and Status:

· Full time Irvine, CA / Los Angeles CA
