We're seeking a results-oriented Director of Truckload Pricing to lead and manage domestic truckload pricing operations. In this crucial leadership role, you'll report to the Vice President of Operations and play a key role in maximizing profitability and driving growth. What you'll do: Oversee all aspects of the domestic truckload pricing process, from customer bid management and contract negotiation to system billing and rating structures. Champion customer success by collaborating with sales and support teams to fulfill customer requests for information (RFI) and proposals (RFP). Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement data-driven pricing strategies that optimize win rates and revenue. Lead the development of customized pricing strategies for each customer opportunity. Conduct in-depth market analysis and leverage key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform pricing decisions. Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders across various departments, including senior leadership, operations, and sales. Champion process improvement initiatives by leveraging your technical and strategic expertise. Analyze and interpret data to inform the creation of effective customer solutions. Collaborate with the technology team to ensure our pricing tools meet evolving business needs. Generate insightful reports on key metrics like volume, yield, and award management. What you bring to the table: 5+ years of demonstrably successful experience in truckload pricing, preferably within a 3PL Domestic Over the Road environment. Deep understanding of the truckload marketplace and a proven track record of developing effective pricing strategies. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Access. Proven experience using McLeod Loadmaster software (required). Familiarity with data analytics tools (a plus). Experience with Four Kites and/or Project 44 software (preferred).
