Job Description:

Senior Project Manager (NM)

Responsibilities

You will be the face of the company with our customers for the programs under your responsibility. Your primary focus will be leading cross-functional teams to ensure that contractually agreed upon Pharmacy Point of Sale (POS) initiatives are delivered on time and within budget and scope.

You will be responsible for developing or taking over an existing MS Project plan, addressing roadblocks that may arise throughout the course of the project, and presenting program progress updates to the leadership of each state, as well as Conduent senior executives.

You will also be responsible for driving the plan to completion, working closely with state employees, MMIS providers, 3rd parties and internal team members. This role requires a person who has exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to understand and drive resolution of risks and issues that arise throughout the planning, requirements verification, incremental design, development/configuration, acceptance/readiness, deployment/go-live and certification of the solution.

Must demonstrate extensive experience as a project consultant and the ability to provide leadership and guidance. Your expertise in program management translates into the successful realization of a business's goals.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years experience leading and successfully completing Pharmacy POS implementations.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in managing similar projects of comparable size and complexity.
  • Prior experience as a Program Lead or Senior Project Manager, implementing in a government and/or commercial pharmacy benefits manager/customer area,
  • Extensive experience managing programs following NCPDP D.0 and or 1.2 telecommunications standards.
  • Claims, Medicaid Rebate and Encounter Program Management background preferred.
  • MLC-II or Higher certified preferred.
  • PMP or equivalent REQUIRED
  • Pharmacy experience/Registered Pharmacist, PharmD is a plus.
  • Ability to successfully interview with the Program Management Office (PMO) for each state, clearly communicating experience leading complex Pharmacy programs.
  • Supporting or working with Medispan, First Data Bank or equivalent pharmacy tools, file formats and conversions.
  • Providing guidance and monitoring the progress made with each program stage.
  • Facilitating suitable interventions to prevent costly delays.
  • Presenting program progress updates to senior executives.
  • Creating client facing and internal status updates.
  • Advance proficiency in program management software.
  • Exceptional communication & leadership skills.
