Leidos is seeking a highly experienced Project Controls Analyst/Risk Manager to contribute to the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Modernization Program. This role involves managing an Integrated Site Schedule (ISS) and overseeing technical and programmatic risk management efforts. The selected candidate will provide essential technical support to the Federal Program Manager (FPM) and collaborate with various Defense Programs (DP), NNSA, and Department of Defense (DOD) entities.

This full-time position is based on-site and demands a professional with a strong background in project controls and risk management. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter, capable of thriving in a dynamic environment while effectively interfacing with senior federal and military personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain project management policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate and analyze client schedules, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Utilize Earned Value Management System (EVMS) principles to assess contractor progress.
  • Conduct thorough research to stay informed on Earned Value Standards.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to produce accurate reports reflecting program status.
  • Analyze sensitive schedule and program data within classified environments.
  • Provide schedule health assessments and critical path analysis to support Program Engineers.
  • Compile and analyze risk reports, offering insights for programmatic decisions.
  • Monitor and assess risks, employing qualitative and quantitative analyses to inform stakeholders.
  • Lead programmatic risk management meetings and foster a culture of risk awareness.
Required Qualifications:
  • Active DOE Q or DOD Top Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 8+ years.
  • Proven expertise in Primavera/P6.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Strong communication skills, with experience in developing briefings for senior management.
  • Familiarity with project management best practices and principles.
  • Experience with project controls practices, including schedule logic and critical path analysis.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • PMP certification.
  • Experience with nuclear weapons and interagency collaboration.
  • Knowledge of MS SharePoint and Microsoft Access databases.
