Spang & Company has an opening for a Human Resources Representative at its headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA. Responsibilities will be a range of Human Resources functions, including benefits administration, compliance, recordkeeping, and special project assignments.
Through the work of three unique product lines, we design, produce, and supply precision soft magnetic components and materials to the electronics industry and custom-engineered solutions to the power industry.
Primary responsibilities will include:
- Assist in benefit plan administration, new hire paperwork, FMLA and associated leaves of absence, COBRA, HRIS administration, and other tasks in support of the benefit programs.
- Support the annual open enrollment process.
- Update employee benefit elections with benefit providers throughout the year.
- Conduct orientation of benefits for new hires.
- Maintain data in HRIS and prepare various monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR files, records, and documentation.
- Assist with planning and execution of special events.
- Represent the company at recruiting fairs as needed.
- Complete HR projects as assigned.
- Domestic travel between division locations, 10 – 20%
A bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field is required. Candidates should have 1 – 3 years of experience in Human Resources functions.
