We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Head of Business Development to lead our Online Platforms vertical team in North America who is passionate about Wise’s mission – money without borders. You’ll be a part of the Wise Platform team, helping deliver world-class payment service solutions to our partners and their customers, powered by the Wise infrastructure. We’ve launched partnerships globally with the likes of Google Pay, NuBank, Mercury, Deel, and Mandiri, and today have 80+ global banks and platforms connected and powered by Wise Platform. We’re looking for a business development senior leader with a track record of experience working with the largest online platforms in North America and globally to take Wise Platform partnerships to the next level. The online platforms vertical consists of the largest platforms across spend management, workforce platforms and marketplaces. A bit about the role: The role is based in our Austin office, and you will also work closely with the Regional North America and Global Wise Platform teams based in our offices around the world. You will also collaborate with other functions, including product management, compliance & legal, implementation, and engineering. You will be a senior leader of our GTM team in North America and our online platforms vertical team globally, owning key opportunities with the largest corporates and financial platforms, driving initiatives to expand Wise Platform’s capabilities, and building out Wise’s infrastructure expansion footprint in North America. Your mission: Develop and implement the online platform vertical strategy for North America and globally. Lead market analysis and identify emerging trends, opportunities, and potential threats to inform strategic decision-making. Work with the Wise Platform team to build, close, and deliver a strong pipeline of online platform partnerships in North America, driving product innovation, revenue, and volume growth for Wise. Develop and execute the growth strategy for Wise Platform’s partner portfolio, brand footprint, and cross-border payments market share in North America. Collaborate closely with other Wise teams, such as engineering and compliance, to develop and enhance Wise product capabilities in North America through new integrated partnership opportunities. Work on projects and initiatives to improve our strategy and approach both within the North America region and globally. This includes helping to iterate our product roadmap, pricing strategies, go-to-market efforts, and anything else that drives growth. Build and lead a high-performing team, defining a clear plan and quickly adapting as needed to execute on the strategy. From day one you will own the vertical, set the strategy and drive this initiative, scaling the team in your vision. Represent Wise and Wise Platform at industry events and conferences as the spokesperson for our online platform vertical. Qualifications

A bit about you: Minimum of 15 years of experience in payments, with a strong focus on international payments for the largest online platforms. Proven track record of developing and executing successful business strategies and driving significant revenue growth. Familiarity with the financial services and regulatory landscapes in North America and understanding how they impact international payments across spend management, workforce platforms, and marketplaces. Able to independently negotiate the most ideal terms with a clear product vision and understanding in mind, figuring out the ideal operational and commercial process with every new partner. You’re hands-on, happy to lead your own discussions and support our business development team with their pipelines. Able to contribute to the build and development of a high-performing online platforms vertical team, globally, defining a clear plan with the team and quickly adapting as needed. You’re as comfortable technically, helping a partner solution the best way to use Wise Platform, as you are discussing commercial and legal terms. Additional Information
