Sales Development Representative (SDR) - Metal America

Metal America, a leading provider of high-quality metal buildings, is seeking experienced Sales Development Representatives to join our remote team.

About Metal America:

We specialize in delivering custom metal building solutions, empowering customers to realize their structural needs while driving innovation in the industry.

Position Overview:

As an SDR, you will be responsible for lead nurturing, customer education, and sales conversion in a fully remote environment.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base commission: 33% on sales
  • Performance-based bonuses with uncapped earning potential
  • Full-time employees on track to earn $175,000 in their first year
  • Flexible, remote work environment

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Respond promptly to inbound leads
  2. Educate customers on product offerings
  3. Create and send quotes using proprietary 3D building tool
  4. Guide customers through the sales process
  5. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales

Qualifications:

  • Proven sales experience, preferably in construction or building materials
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and digital sales tools

Work Schedule:

  • Choose from 3-hour blocks between 7:00 AM - 10:00 PM
  • Minimum requirement: 4 shifts (12 hours) per week
  • Shifts scheduled 7 days in advance via Google Calendar

Key Performance Indicators:

  1. Lead response time
  2. Conversion rate
  3. Customer satisfaction metrics
  4. Adherence to company procedures (e.g., lead tagging, deal reporting)

Essential Requirements:

  1. Strict adherence to lead management protocols in ManyChat
  2. Timely scheduling and attendance of assigned shifts
  3. Successful completion of required training and assessments
  4. Consistent follow-up on qualified leads
  5. Daily management of conversation queue
  6. Accurate reporting of closed deals
  7. Participation in supervised demonstrations (first 3 demos)
  8. Internal communication primarily through designated channels (Slack)
