Description & Qualifications Description UKG, Inc. is seeking an experienced Lead Financial Analyst to support our rapidly-growing Managed Services and Everything Benefits organizations, as well as support the Compliance AML function. The Lead Financial Analyst is highly proficient in the creation of analysis and modeling that drives sound decision making and business optimization by leaders across the organization. The ideal candidate can work at both a strategic level in terms of understanding and diagnosing business issues, as well as at a tactical level in terms of driving the budgeting and forecasting process and providing inciteful, actionable reporting around financial results and initiatives. This individual will work with all levels in the organization, and must be an excellent communicator, collaborator and problem solver. Responsibilities: Manage the Budget and Forecast cycle for the Managed Services, Everything Benefits and Compliance business units Define and measure business performance and provide actionable insight to the unit executive leadership teams Work cross-functionally with other business leads and senior management to create and develop new business metrics that help drive business success Prepare Gross Margin analysis for Managed Services Business and work with business leaders on recommendations for areas to improve margin Prepare monthly/quarterly operations packages and provide insight to leadership as a “Voice of Finance” Respond to ad-hoc executive queries which may include conducting research, working with cross functional teams, and preparing related content Prepare month-end financial reporting packages for business line managers and provide actionable recommendations Support position-based headcount expense management and recommend process improvements Be an active and vital member of the Managed Services and Everything Benefits Leadership Teams Develop operational understanding of the business units in order to provide value-added review of business capacity planning models and workforce strategies Complete special projects as requested and collaborate with other business units within the Services umbrella Qualifications About You Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required, MBA a plus 7+ years of progressive financial analysis experience with demonstrated experience supporting a business unit Experience in process design and improvement Advanced knowledge of Excel and other MS Office product expertise Preferred Qualifications: Highly technical mindset that seeks to leverage automation tools to drive efficiency and accuracy Ability to synthesize large, complex data sets into clear, actionable information Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently with limited supervision is required Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced team environment TM1 (IBM Planning Analytics) experience preferred but not required EEO Statement Equal Opportunity Employer Ultimate Kronos Group is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and is committed to maintaining a diverse and inclusive work environment.
