Job Summary
As a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) at Q2, you will play a critical role in aligning HR strategies with business objectives, driving organizational effectiveness, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. You will collaborate closely with business leaders to provide strategic HR guidance, address employee needs, and support the achievement of business goals. This role requires a deep understanding of Q2's culture, values, and business priorities, as well as strong HR expertise and business acumen.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnership: Partner with business leaders to understand their objectives, challenges, and talent needs, and develop HR strategies and initiatives to support business goals.
Organizational Development: Drive organizational effectiveness through initiatives such as organizational design, workforce planning, and change management to enhance performance and agility.
Talent Management: Lead talent management processes including performance management, succession planning, and career development to build a high-performing and diverse workforce.
Employee Relations: Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices, and address employee relations issues effectively to maintain a positive work environment.
Employee Engagement: Develop and implement programs and initiatives to foster employee engagement, enhance morale, and promote a culture of inclusion and belonging.
HR Analytics: Utilize HR metrics and data analytics to provide insights and recommendations on workforce trends, employee engagement, and talent management, and drive data-driven decision-making.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws, regulations, and company policies, and provide guidance to managers and employees on legal and regulatory requirements.
Change Management: Lead change management initiatives to support organizational transformation, mergers and acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives, and ensure effective communication and stakeholder engagement throughout the change process.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
6+ years of experience in HRBP or related roles, preferably in a technology or high-tech environment.
Deep understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations, with experience in a global or multinational organization.
Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to understand business goals and translate them into HR initiatives.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Proven ability to drive organizational change and manage complex HR projects and initiatives.
HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, SPHR) preferred.
Experience working in a matrixed organization and collaborating with global and cross-functional teams.
