SUMMARY

The overall role of the Human Resources Coordinator is to assist with administration of HR policies and procedures that cover a number of key HR areas including but not limited to: compensation and benefits, payroll processing, performance management, talent management, etc. This role will interact with doctors, management and staff. The incumbent will work with the HR Director to ensure ongoing company compliance is maintained as it relates to all applicable federal and state employment laws.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and run a variety of reports for: bonus, commission, performance reviews, etc.
  • Cross train with benefits and payroll to be able to step in as a backup during absences.
  • Ensure that all new hires have all of their required documentation and that it is filed in the personnel file.
  • Track and respond to unemployment claims.
  • Manage the offboarding of team members including conducting exit interviews for voluntary resignations.
  • Handle general team members questions pertaining to company policies, procedures, and benefit programs.
  • Assist in tracking legal requirements an government reporting regulations affecting Human Resources functions such as ADA, EEO, FLSA, FMLA, LOA, and OSHA.
  • Partner with the Operations Trainers to facilitate New Employee Orientation (NEO) as needed.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent is required, but undergraduate degree in an applicable field is preferred.
  • 2+ years experience in dealing with most of the following: benefits, compensation, performance management, payroll processing, talent management is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite of products including, but not limited to Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experience with HRIS/Payroll software such as ADP, Ceridian, Paycom, Paylocity, or PayServ.
  • Experience working within a corporate business setting for a large employer (500+ employees) will be invaluable.
