This role will report directly to the Vice President of FP&A and be a teammate on the operations team, where we work with all of the portfolio companies in its areas of functional expertise. This role is perfect for an early/early-mid career FP&A analyst who is tired of being stuck behind a cubicle doing the same thing over and over again.

Essential Qualifications:

  1. Educational Background Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field. A masters degree or professional certification such as CPA or CFA is advantageous but not required.
  2. Experience 1-3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting, or a related financial role. Experience in a corporate finance environment, particularly within private equity or operations-focused firms, is preferred.
  3. Technical Skills
  4. Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting with strong Excel skills.
  5. Experience with financial systems and databases; familiarity with iLevel or similar budget, planning, and consolidation software is highly beneficial.
  6. Competence in using standard financial software and tools, with the ability to adapt to new technologies.
  7. Analytical Abilities Strong quantitative and analytical competency with the ability to interpret financial data accurately and develop clear, actionable insights.
  8. Communication Skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities with experience preparing reports that succinctly and clearly communicate important information and findings to senior management.
  9. Attention to Detail High level of accuracy and attention to detail in handling financial data and compliance with audit standards.
  10. Problem-Solving Skills Effective problem-solving skills with the capacity to identify issues, analyze data, develop solutions, and implement process improvements.
  11. Organizational Skills Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple tasks with overlapping deadlines and under pressure.
  12. Teamwork and Interpersonal Skills Ability to work well in a team environment, collaborate with other areas, and provide support and training to others.
