- Forecast Consolidation: Integrate smaller forecasts and models into the overarching financial plan and reports.
- Business Analysis: Conduct in-depth analyses of business units, portfolio segments, geographic areas, and acquisitions.
- Performance Tracking: Collect data to monitor and evaluate the performance of strategic initiatives.
- Financial Modeling: Learn and maintain financial models and tools, enhancing the budget forecast model as needed.
- Data Reporting: Create relevant reports, ensuring data preparation, report generation, and quality control to deliver insights and effective visualizations.
- Operational Monitoring: Track operational statistics, report trends, variances, and issues, and take necessary actions.
- Performance Reviews: Provide data and analyses for periodic financial and operational performance reviews with business and finance teams.
- Database Management: Build databases and prepare reports for senior management.
- Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct various ad hoc analyses as required.
- Business Case Development: Assist in constructing business cases and performing due diligence on potential opportunities.
- Financial Concepts Application: Apply financial and economic principles, including modeling, analysis, cash flow assessments, and strategic evaluations.
- Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow forecast models and variance analyses.
- Analytical Tools Utilization: Use analytical tools and methodologies, including visualizations, to present findings effectively.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively on processes and projects, representing the finance group's objectives.
- Professional Integrity: Establish credibility through respectful interactions, attention to detail, and excellent financial insight.
- A bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, or accounting.
- 5+ years of experience in financial planning, with at least 3 years in the chemical, oil, or gas industries preferred.
- Proven ability to develop annual budgets and forecasts for various business units and consolidate them into a master budget.
This position operates in a hybrid model, requiring on-site work three days a week. Relocation assistance is not available for this role. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
