Work You’ll Do: • Perform research & troubleshooting for General Parts (GP) requests to support the Inside & Outside Aftermarket Sales quoting process. • Communicate effectively with our internal buyer/planners, engineering/vendors, and technical teams around customer needs and escalate issues when they arise. • Respond swiftly and courteously to customer complaints or inquiries. • Partner with all Aftermarket teams including but not limited to Sales, Service, Technical support to assure we provide the best customer service experience. • Provide service in specialized areas of customer service/sales support. • Complete required documentation, and forms accurately per specifications. • Perform audits to assure accuracy and provide feedback to team members. • Lead certain support functions and assist in special projects as needed. • Train in specific areas of skill and assist in creating standard operating procedures. • Uses Excel, Outlook, and other internal systems to complete detailed tasks. • Leverage SalesForce (SFDC) as a central repository, enter & update part number details to support the quote to order process. • Other duties as prescribed by management to support the team. Team: This role will be a part of the Customer Service team reporting to the Service Business Manager. This team provides support relating to sales, communications, billing inquires, suggestions, post-sale technical support services, and more. The overall goal of the Customer Service team is to ensure good customer relations are maintained and customer claims are resolved fairly in accordance with consumer laws. The Technical Service Team takes ownership of customer problems & utilizes technology to proactively predict issues before they occur. The Product Support Specialist will partner with cross functional teams for expeditious & efficient solutions. Basic Qualifications: • High School Diploma or equivalent • 2 + years of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulics experience/knowledge (plastics preferred). • Experience with reading schematics. • Basic Computer skills Preferred Qualifications: • Previous customer service experience in a corporate environment. • Ability to communicate with professionalism both internally and externally. • Excellent organization and time management skills. • Extensive knowledge of Excel, Outlook, and analytics. • Familiarity with Windows operating systems. • Familiarity with technical print reading. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
