Great Plains Ag Territory Manager – North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia Great Plains Manufacturing is seeking an Ag Territory Manager to join our growing team to work with dealers in North Carolina, South Carolina, and portions of Virginia to promote and sell Great Plains agricultural equipment and products. This territory is comprised of 45 dealer locations across three states. Many of these dealers may have a “major” line like John Deere, Case, New Holland, or AGCO, or may be a “short line” standalone dealer. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a background in agriculture. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist dealer sales staff in retail customer visits to promote the sale of Great Plains product Initiate a sales training program for sales personnel in each dealership. Promote and be involved in grower meetings, demonstrations, field days, and open houses. Utilize company ordering programs to ensure proper dealer inventory at the proper season Develop the territory: drive revenue growth from all dealers, replace inactive dealers, recruit new dealers, and be involved in identifying all opportunities for growth Sell products and write orders for Great Plains products to ensure that the proper inventory is in the dealer’s hands prior to and during the selling season. Follow up with the dealers and growers on unresolved service issues. Attend annual sales meetings to stay informed on our product and promote your personal development and growth. Other duties may be assigned that require other qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environment.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of business-to-business sales experience, preferably in the agricultural industry Live in the described territory, with a strong familiarity of the region Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills Willingness and ability to travel more than 50% of the time Highly motivated self-starter; ability to work effectively with minimal or no supervision Proficient in MS Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or minimum two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience At Great Plains Manufacturing, our people make the difference, making our company a great place to work and grow.
