As a member of the Marketing team, the Marketing Specialist is a key contributor to the successful execution of Impact Financial Group’s annual marketing plan. To help the company achieve its goal of impacting 1,000 lives, the Marketing Specialist will work with IFG Advisors, marketing leadership, external vendors, partners and AMPF teams to deliver tactical elements of the marketing plan on-time and within budget and will assess success of marketing programs by generating periodic reports and ROI summaries.
Marketing Specialist Job Responsibilities
Assist in the execution of all strategic and tactical marketing initiatives and plans.
Assist with day-to-day marketing tasks including lead generation and managing lead pipeline and content drip.
Create and deploy digital marketing campaigns in support of the annual marketing plan for the team and for individual advisors using Marketing on Demand (MOD) and CRM campaign functionality.
Assist with corporate, client and prospect event management.
Identify and manage company and community sponsorships to achieve full value from each relationship.
Manage the IFG website within AMPF brand guidelines. Assure team site content is timely and replicated across Advisors’ websites. Monitor SEO utilizing SEMRush, Google Analytics, Google Console, Google My Business, etc.
Create a social media calendar that aligns with key consumer/business dates and IFG milestones. Use the Hearsay platform to schedule and publish both AMPF and original content on the IFG Facebook page and Angela’s LinkedIn page. Work with Advisors to share content via social media to increase IFG awareness, build credibility, and generate leads.
Create marketing materials such as the corporate brochure, Menu of Services, segment overviews and newsletters using Adobe products or Canva within AMPF brand guidelines.
Organize the production of branded products, such as stationery, premiums, and attire and maintain sufficient inventory as needed.
Run periodic marketing ROI tracking reports in Salesforce to measure campaign and business development performance in support of company goals.
Write clear, concise correspondence, letters, and emails as needed
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Superior creative and technical writing skills with a keen eye for detail.
Strong creativity and marketing skills. Ability to generate multiple and varied ideas.
Must be able to manage many moving parts and details at once making organizational and time management skills important to completing work within established time frames.
Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple projects and competing work demands.Ability to see the “big picture” while managing several small projects.
Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Positive interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain cooperative, courteous working relationships with others.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of information regarding IFG, its clients and other information.
Compensation And Qualification Profile
The compensation package for this position includes a competitive base salary plus a quarterly performance-based bonus determined by the company’s achievement of select team goals. In addition, the candidate will be able to participate in 401K plan immediately, with a 3% company match after one year of services, as well as have access to medical, dental, and vision insurance.
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skills and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
2-4 years of related experience preferred.
Demonstrated background in marketing management, content management, digital marketing, and/or creative writing.
Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word; Microsoft Teams; and basic skills or knowledge of Salesforce, Google Analytics, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Canva.
