The Director of Marketing and Brand at ThedaCare is a strategic leader within the Brand Marketing Communication (BMC) team, tasked with spearheading the development and execution of comprehensive marketing and digital strategies. The Director leads brand and service line marketing and serves as a leading consumer strategist for the organization. The director will ensure marketing plans/digital strategies enhance ThedaCare's position in the healthcare market and support the organization’s overall growth goals. As the leader of service line marketing, the Director will be responsible for leading this work for the BMC team across functional areas. This role will work collaboratively across BMC, including all leaders and team members, and will use their expertise and influence to ensure the department achieves overall objectives in areas not under their direct oversight. The Director will lead the brand work that includes positioning, brand standards, and execution across all disciplines. The Director of Marketing is responsible for service-line growth and for developing a comprehensive marketing plan. They will identify desired outcomes and will execute strategies to ensure these outcomes are achieved. The Director of Marketing will champion digital marketing initiatives across all service lines ensuring alignment with ThedaCare's strategic objectives and promoting the LifeInspired brand/movement through impactful storytelling and community engagement. As the consumer strategist, they will lead by considering the voice of the consumer and will use this in all elements of planning and execution.

Key Accountabilities:

Develop, implement, and execute robust omnichannel marketing strategies to promote service lines, increase market share, and drive revenue growth. Strategically lead the planning and execution of plans that support service line strategy and service line growth across the BMC team, achieving identified objectives and targets. Use contemporary marketing strategies including CRM, nurturing campaigns, and digital strategies, and use data to learn and adjust; work collaboratively with the e-marketing technology function to achieve objectives. Partners with and supports the service line leaders and executives as their BMC business partner. Responsible for the budgeting/tracking process for the overall department. Drives the organization’s brand position, brand standards, and the brand movement. Creates effective plans that drive the organization’s strategic direction and brand position, achieving defined annual objectives. Elevate ThedaCare’s brand presence, ensuring consistent and compelling messaging to engage consumers and build loyalty. Maintains the integrity of ThedaCare’s brand identity, ensuring all marketing activities align with the organization’s values and brand standards. Leverage data from all sources including market research to inform strategic decisions and act as an effective marketing business partner to understand patient needs, market trends, and competitive dynamics. Collaborate with leadership across the organization to align marketing strategies with business goals, ensuring seamless execution and maximum impact. Optimize marketing operations to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and ROI on marketing investments. Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing strategists along with fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration amongst the larger team. Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, agencies, and vendors to support strategic marketing initiatives. Manage complex projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives and budgetary constraints. Foster a culture of excellence within the marketing team, encouraging innovation, strategic thinking, and a focus on outcomes.

Qualifications: 10 years of progressive experience in marketing/brand management with a demonstrated track record of success; experienced leadership in the health industry required. Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred. Demonstrated ability to work across functions within and outside of marketing to build relationships and drive results. Strategic thinker with excellent analytic, planning, marketing, and communications skills and with a proven bias towards action experience in creating brand initiatives, authentic storytelling, and leading successful integrated marketing and communications campaigns for a large, complex organization. High level of leadership skills to assist in the alignment of the organization to a disciplined, strategic marketing approach. Development of a team to support, develop, and implement marketing strategy in a team-based environment. Successful candidates should have demonstrated experience leveraging both the art and science of marketing to achieve positive business outcomes. Ability to engage with and counsel senior leaders, physicians, and other health system staff in marketing activities and provide leadership to marketing, communications, and cross-functional team members to achieve objectives. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proficiencies in digital and social communications. Highly organized, with a strong ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
