Job Description

Senior Trade Compliance Analyst

Join our team in Monroe, WI and embark on a career that merges satisfaction with directly working with customs, other government agencies and participating in audits.
Duties will include daily coordination with customs brokers to properly declare import entry data to U.S. Customs with respect to valuation, classification, trade program verification, and adherence to all government regulations for all Colony Brands units.

As the senior trade compliance analyst you will play a pivot role in maintaining high standards. Your responsibilities will include:
•Daily interaction with customs brokers and internal teams to enable the timely and accurate import customs clearance process.
•Shared responsibility for determination of harmonized tariff schedule (HS) classification for imported goods across multiple business units, including maintenance of the HS import database.
•Perform critical trade compliance audits to ensure compliance with all applicable import regulations.
•Participate in various cost savings initiatives and strategic planning sessions to support Colony Brands strategic goals and objectives.
•Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to build awareness and internal partnerships for Colony Brands compliance activity.

Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree required international business, supply chain or related field preferred with a strong interest in international business/trade compliance.
•Minimum 3 years import compliance experience.
•Substantial working knowledge of HS Classification.
•Project management skills with a process improvement focus demonstrating the ability to prioritize and drive forward multiple initiatives and objectives in a timely manner.
•Demonstrate a strong work ethic, initiative, decision making skills and the ability to work on a team and independently to drive strategic results.
•Experience with MSOffice (specifically advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge.
•Certified Customs Specialist or Customs Broker preferred.
•This role requires you to physically work on site at our Monroe, WI headquarters.
