What You'll Do

As our HR Specialist you will play a vital role in supporting the employees of Premier Community Bank. Your responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for processing bi-weekly payroll and general ledger entries following each payroll.
  • Assist with the timecard system recording missed employee punches
  • Coordinate and manage the onboarding process for new hires and organizing orientation day activities across departments.
  • Manage benefits administration for new hires and assist with benefit changes for current employees including annual open enrollment.
  • Assist with recruiting efforts by posting available employment positions, reviewing applications, and conducting phone interviews to fill vacant positions.
Skills for Success

To excel in this role, you'll need:
  • High School diploma, or equivalent required; an associate degree in Human Resources is preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Must be capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment with strong multitasking skills and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities quickly.
  • Must possess a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and to interact and communicate with customers and employees of the bank.
  • Work requires attention to detail in composing and reviewing materials.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft operating systems, including Excel and Word.
