Position Summary:

The Senior Director of Human Resources at Marion Body Works, Inc. will play a critical role in shaping the company's HR strategy to support the continued growth and success of the organization. This executive-level position is responsible for leading all aspects of the HR function, including talent management, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, and compliance. The Senior Director of HR will work closely with the executive team to drive organizational effectiveness, foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture, and ensure that HR initiatives align with the overall business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic HR Leadership:
    • Develop and execute HR strategies that support the company's business objectives and long-term goals.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to cultivate a high-performance culture focused on employee engagement, development, and retention.
    • Lead organizational development efforts, including workforce planning, succession planning, and change management.
  • Talent Management:
    • Oversee the recruitment and selection process to attract top talent to Marion Body Works, Inc.
    • Implement comprehensive onboarding, training, and development programs that enhance employee skills and leadership capabilities.
    • Coach leaders across the company to improve leadership skills and team effectiveness
    • Manage performance management systems that align with the company's goals and promote continuous feedback and improvement.
  • Employee Relations:
    • Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and policy interpretation.
    • Promote a positive and inclusive work environment that reflects the company's core values and culture.
    • Foster an inclusive working relationship with the union
  • Compensation and Benefits:
    • Oversee the design and administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract, retain, and motivate employees.
    • Regularly evaluate compensation practices to ensure alignment with industry standards and company objectives.
  • Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
    • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that minimize risk and support the company's mission and values.
  • HR Operations:
    • Lead and develop the HR team to deliver high-quality, efficient HR services across the organization.
      • Utilize HR analytics to drive data-informed decision-making and measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives.
Ǫualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and regulations.
  • Proven experience in leading organizational change and driving HR initiatives that align with business goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong focus on results.
