Job Summary -
Vaco is currently working with a Manufacturing Company and they have an opening for a Plant Accountant who will support multiple plant facilities. Main duties of the role include general ledger accounting, month-end close, and inventory processes. Light travel is required with this position. The company is offering healthy benefits and opportunity for leverage.
Duties -
Plant Accounting processes
Full cycle month-end close
Preparation of journal entries
Variance analysis
Compliance reporting
Inventory processes
Analysis of financial statements including balance sheets
Fixed Assets accounting
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
4-6 years of Accounting experience
Able to complete light travel to designated plant sites
Experience in a Manufacturing or distribution company is a must
Experience with inventory is a must
Prior experience with an Accounting ERP is a must
Prior experience with using Microsoft Excel
Must have excellent written and verbal communication
