Radiation Therapist, Radiation Oncology

Atlantic Health System is seeking a per-diem Radiation Therapist for the Radiation-Oncology Unit at Morristown Medical Center, to work 8:00am - 4:00pm.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Administers radiation treatments to patients and uses custom fabricated immobilization devices to ensure accuracy of patient treatment.
- Maintains patient and billing records, performs daily QA of the linear accelerator and provides patient education.
- Graduate of an approved Radiation Program
- 1-3 years experience working as a radiation therapist preferred.
- Will consider a new graduate.
- Knowledge of Varian True Beam, Align RT, Aria and Epic preferred.
- Must have a current NJ Radiation Therapist License.
- ARRT certified
- Basic computer skills such as Microsoft word and excel
- Must have excellent communication skills to interact with patients and members of the care team.
