REPORTS TO VP of Finance

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Education: Four-year college degree in Accounting/Finance. CPA Preferred, not required.

Applicant must be high level with all aspects of accounting- full cycle but particularly with healthcare experience,
Experience with Clinic/Private Practice P&Ls a plus.
Capable of working with various EMRs.
Previous experience with mergers and acquisitions a plus.
Comfortable working with QuickBooks
Experience converting cash to accrual financials a plus.
Minimum 5 years of exp. in accounting role.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, strong Excel skills.
Proficient with windows based general ledger software. Great Plains experience preferred.
Experience with financial statement preparation.
Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Extremely self-motivated and demonstrates initiative.
Familiar with standard accounting concepts, practices, and procedures.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs daily accounting activities to maintain general ledger and prepare financial reports.
Performs various accounting functions to provide financial and statistical information to appropriate parties.
Performs detail analysis of A/R ledger accounts to ensure revenue accuracy.
Audits various expense accounts on the Balance Sheet & Income Statement for timeliness & accuracy.
Integrates private practice acquisitions. Must be comfortable reviewing purchase agreements, working in different EMRs, and cash to accrual conversions.
Works with Billing Department/Revenue Cycle Management on monthly payment reconciliations.
Reconciles all bank statements each month.
Works closely with VP of Finance. Will be looked to assist with budget, audit, and various investor requests.
