Account Development Manager

As an Account Development Manager, you will grow new sales through assigned PPG Paints stores, growing both existing business year-over-year, and developing new accounts.

You will report to the Regional Manager and work remotely/on the road based in the Baton Rouge, LA area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure outstanding customer service is provided to existing customer accounts by keeping up to date with current promotions, new products, and with current customer service practices to find opportunities for growth.
  • Develop account planning strategies, and sales opportunities, and understand existing businesses and the segments they serve.
  • Use the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool to run accounts, maintain call logs and contact info, and run reports.
  • Collaborate with store managers and employees to ensure customers' needs are met.
  • Facilitate customer quotes to achieve margin targets according to PPG pricing strategies.

Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma required
  • Three (3) years of experience with stellar customer service acuity.
  • CRM software experience is preferred while previous coatings experience is sought after.
  • Daily travel within an assigned territory; must have a valid driver's license.
