Glanbia Performance Nutrition is a wholly owned subsidiary of Glanbia headquartered in Downers Grove, Illinois. GPN manufactures and markets the full range of performance nutrition products including protein, pre-workout, muscle gainers, and general health. Products are sold through a variety of channels including specialty retail, the internet, and gyms in a variety of formats including powders, bars, and Ready-to-Drink beverages. GPN has a global and expanding footprint with a current in-market presence in 24 countries.

Job Summary & Responsibilities:

This role will offer you a valuable opportunity to gain hands on experience in our FP&A and/or Product Supply functions and support the team with day-to-day activities. Throughout the summer you will own a key project relating to relevant business problem and have the opportunity to present your insights and recommendations to GPN leadership. Outside of this, you will partake in several development workshops and build connections with your Intern class and our business leaders through social & networking events.

Expected Outcomes:
  • Partner with team members in preparation, analysis, and presentations of weekly and month end-financial reports.
  • Work closely with other departments, including Operations, Sales, and Marketing, to provide financial insights and support reporting requests as needed.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and modeling to support business decisions and initiatives.
  • Active participation in all Pure Ambition program activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Current undergraduate student pursuing a bachelor's degree majoring in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability.
  • Self-starter and highly motivated individual with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
