What will I be doing?

The Manager Human Resources (HR) Business Operations provides coaching and advice to site Leadership as well as Team Members. They build effective partnerships on all levels of the organization, act as a trusted advisor to their clients (Regional Site Leaders) and teams, and successfully implement programs that drive their clients' organizational results. Key skills and abilities include daily coaching, influencing, leading, facilitating, presenting, communicating, process developing, analyzing, and problem solving.
  • Supports the HR Business Partner and Team Member Relations leaders, and provides practical advice and coaching on manager/team member interactions that helps the leader manage. This is inclusive of addressing performance concerns, managing through conflict, coaching on effective communication, creating and maintaining a healthy culture and advising on effective team meetings.
  • Supports internal clients' goals alongside the organization's goals; integrates all needs and shares these objectives, driving daily/short term objectives.
  • Serves as the advisor to both the clients and Centers of Excellence (COE's), balancing organization needs, legal framework, and people need to meet short term organizational goals, finds effective solutions, and provides honest and neutral feedback. Stays updated on legal matters, rules, and regulations as it relates to the client and HR business. Continually understands the challenges and needs of the business.
  • Supports and advises with COE teams to deliver products needed to fit client objectives
  • Balances the needs of the team with the needs of the org. Advocates for the collective and individual needs of the team for day to day development, rewards, succession, promotion opportunities and conducive work environment. Provides in the moment mentoring for leaders and managers on how to coach/document for performance. Supports the TMR team in investigations when vital. Provides confidential, career and personal development advice to Team Members when appropriate.
  • Responds to ethics or values issues as an ambassador for the company.
  • Responds to Law Enforcement/ Agency requests (subpoenas, arrests, etc)
  • In conjunction with the Sr. HR Business Operations Partner, serves as a main point of contact for all site based business needs.
  • Acts as the client relationship manager between the business management team and the @YourService team.
  • Ensures HR processes are efficient and optimized, which requires tracking, monitoring, and continuously improving. Partners with Corporate resources, HR @YourService team to deliver high-touch HR service to clients and Team Members (i.e. provides situation content and knowledge of business to @YourService Team). Gives and receives honest feedback from clients and to peers about HR processes.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent /GED
  • 3 years in HR management working within a variety of functions including leadership coaching
  • Outstanding communication, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven leadership and advising skills with high level clients.
  • Experience defining and using business metrics to accomplish and measure initiatives
  • Experience managing/ practicing HR in a fast-paced environment
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • PHR/SPHR
  • 3-5 years working within a similar advising or OD function.
  • 5 years operational experience (managing an operation; responsible for driving sales, marketing, P&L) a plus.
  • Timeshare experience
