Accounting Manager

$95,000 to $125000 per year

Our client is a $100M manufacturing division of a large $1.5B organization and is seeking an Accounting Manager to manage the accounting department. You will have responsibility to oversee the work of 2 accounting clerks and drive the month close and budgeting / forecasting process for the plant location.

As an Accounting Manager you will be responsible for:
  • management of the accounts payable and accounts receivables clerks
  • month and quarter close responsibilities
  • The Accounting Manager will be responsible for financial reporting
  • ad hoc reporting
  • The Accounting Manager will oversee cost accounting and work within a bill of materials
  • post close responsibilities to include variance analysis and sales trend analysis
  • pricing of new products and margin analysis
Background Desired for the Accounting Manager:
  • 4+ years of accounting experience from a manufacturer
  • Bachelors degree in accounting
  • 2+ years supervising accounting clerks
  • CPA is desired
