**About Embark:** Our goal is to prevent the 4,000 fatalities a year caused by truck accidents, reduce the 50,000 truck driver shortage, and make moving goods across the country twice as fast and half as expensive, improving the efficiency of the entire economy. Our team became the first ever to drive an automated truck coast to coast in February 2018 and we were the first to start moving real freight for customers last fall on a 650 mile stretch of highway from California to Texas.

We are looking for experienced drivers to join our growing team. + Full-time

+ $87,000 /year (Guaranteed yearly salary)

+ Mainly Home Daily/ 1st shift with the flexibility to support expansion, special testing, and demos.

**Responsibilities:**

+ Ensuring the safe operation of autonomous semi-trucks

+ Complete driving reports, procedures, and tests in order to collect data to improve the technology

+ Provide essential feedback on system performance to the team.

**Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:**

+ Valid Class A commercial driver's license

+ A min. of 5+ years of verifiable Class A experience in a tractor-trailer combination within the last 10 years

+ Ability to pass a background check and Road Test.

+ Must be able to pass DOT requirements including Drug Test, MVR, and Physical.

+ Clean driving record (MVR)

+ *No more than two (2) minor moving violations while operating a personal or commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years*

+ *No serious traffic violations while operating a commercial or personal motor vehicle in the last five (5) years.*

+ *No DUI, DWI, OUI, or reckless driving involving alcohol/drugs convictions within the last ten (10) years.*

+ *No preventable accidents* while operating a commercial or personal motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.*

+ *No preventable* DOT recordable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last ten (10) years.*

+ Be professional and a team player

+ Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies, and or procedures

+ Be able to follow written and oral instructions
