Your day to day as a Family Services Coordinator

Facilitating parent participation through:

  • Initial family sessions
  • Support groups
  • Individual sessions
  • Developing family-focused treatment plans
  • Conducting group sessions
  • Providing crisis intervention as needed
  • Supervising a dedicated team
  • Coordinating various family-related activities and events
  • Collaborating with other team members in weekly clinical formats
  • Ensuring the holistic well-being of residents
  • Working closely with families and residents to support their journey towards healing and recovery
Requirements for this Family Services Coordinator job
  • Required Licenses: LMSW, LMHC, LMFT, MHC-LP, MSW-LP, MFT-LP
  • Experience:
    • Adolescents and residential treatment
    • 2-3 years with substance abuse disorders
    • 1-2 years with co-occurring and mental health issues
  • Skills:
    • Quality service commitment and outcome-driven performance
    • Excellent organizational and management skills
    • Ability to coach, manage, and develop clinicians
    • Strong networking and public relations abilities
    • Action-oriented, adaptable, and innovative in program planning
    • Effective collaboration with diverse groups
    • Bilingual Spanish a plus
