The HR Generalist originates and leads Human Resource practices and objectives driving a team-oriented, high-performance culture emphasizing integrity, leadership, empathy, and service of others. Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct HR support for the corporate office team
  • Develop and manage relationships with team members at corporate and client locations in support of positive associate relations, and performance management, provide and ing mentoring and development as needed.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, Service Contract Act, Wage and Labor Compliance ACA, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Perform payroll operations including review and approval and timesheets, time logs, payroll processing, and auditing.
  • Balance and prioritize operational and HR needs while driving company initiatives and programs.
  • Support benefit administration through management of Open Enrollment, and benefit audits.
  • Support recruitment efforts including sourcing, interviewing, selection, performance/reference background checks and hiring.
  • Provide oversight, and support for hybrid work programs and strategies.
  • Consult with leadership to develop solutions to business challenges.
  • Oversee HR-related administrative duties to ensure compliance with all legal and government reporting requirements.
  • Support DE&I initiatives by promoting and facilitating associate engagement.
  • Provide effective performance management guidance through coaching, counseling, career development, and electronic performance management tracking support.
  • Build strategies for proactive employee relations to ensure healthy relations with all employees; manage escalated issues.
  • Drive company culture through activities and programs across the organization
Required Qualification :
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent education and experience
  • 3+ years of broad-based Human Resource experience in the federal government contracting and commercial sector with a proven track record of success
  • SHRM-CP is highly desired.
  • Demonstrate excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Effectively use Microsoft Office 365 Suite and Google Drive at an intermediate skill level
  • Effective use of HRIS platforms, preferably ADP Workforce Now, at an intermediate skill level
  • Strong focus on recruitment
  • Keen interest in empowering team members through cultural engagement and experiences
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace
  • Demonstrate a strong focus on integrity and confidentiality
  • Maintain a high degree of organization and accuracy
