What You Do

Manage and optimize the flow of critical production and quality information across various channels. Ensure accurate and timely processing of data related to vehicle manifests, vehicle broadcasts, and equipment data streams, supporting seamless operations for manufacturing and quality of vehicle.

As a part of the above, and on an ongoing basis will also:
  • Establish strong team member relations, at all levels and provide support for people development, coaching, and mentoring with a focus on teamwork and inclusion
  • Work closely with advisors from Mazda and Toyota
  • Generate and maintain accurate vehicle manifests detailing production schedules, specifications, and shipping details for different vehicle models.
  • Coordinate the broadcast of production and quality information to production, logistics, quality, and engineering departments using appropriate communication channels and systems.
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data related to vehicle manifests, production statuses, and logistics coordination through regular audits and updates.
  • Ensure accurate data is provided to key programming equipment for vehicle manufacturing; coordinate with all necessary department on required changes to vehicle specs and code.
  • Conduct quality checks and resolve discrepancies promptly to maintain data accuracy and compliance with operational standards.
  • Interpret real-time data to identify potential issues or inefficiencies and take proactive measures to address them promptly.
  • Collaborate closely with production supervisors and team leads to ensure smooth operations and timely resolution of any issues that arise.
  • Act swiftly during emergencies or equipment malfunctions by following established protocols to minimize downtime and maintain safety.
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities, incidents, and operational parameters. Generate reports detailing change points and recommendations for systems and equipment changes.
  • Collaborate closely with project planners, logistics teams, production, quality groups and engineering to provide updates, address inquiries, and resolve issues related to manifests and broadcast information.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline manifest generation processes, enhance data management practices, and improve communication efficiency across the organization.
  • Ability to learn and develop skills for different areas of the company dealing with systems and equipment as needed. Willingness to train across departments and systems as required.
  • Coordinate and travel to other manufacturing sites (local and international travel) when required to complete necessary items per project scope.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by the department
  • Be available to work outside of normal work schedule, including but not limited to weekends, holidays, shutdowns, and travel as needed (domestically and internationally)
What You Bring:
  • High School Diploma/ GED
  • Proficiency in data management practices & software
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems,
  • Understanding of data flow and coordination between different department/companies
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of Products
What Sets You Apart:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
  • Experience with data processing/analysis systems such as PowerBI, Excel, Python, R, or equivalent data systems.
  • Knowledge of automotive design principles and manufacturing processes is highly desirable.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to escalate concerns or project delays as needed to different stakeholders to ensure timely project progress/completion.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules as needed based on project demands.
