Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Data Entry Specialist will review source documents for data input, check accuracy and relevance of input and output data by visual examination, and verify output against control totals, reviews format and accuracy of printouts, and distributes information to appropriate departments.

The ideal candidate will be a highly self-motivated individual who can work well with little to no supervision and is a reliable, knowledgeable, resourceful, flexible, service-oriented professional.

Responsibilities of the Data Entry Specialist:

Maintain appropriate documentation of conversations in designated system to ensure handoff continuity and client profile accuracy
Become proficient in all platforms, systems, and tools used to maintain client records, transactions, documentation and relevant data
Identify client needs, research issue and provide solutions and/or alternatives
Build sustainable relationships and engage clients by providing best-in-class service
Identify areas of process improvement
Effectively communicate
Perform other duties as deemed necessary by management

Qualifications of the Data Entry Specialist:

High school diploma or GED required
A minimum of 1+ years experience with customer service and/or contact centers
Engineering industry experience is preferred
Working knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office Products
Excellent oral and written communications skills, particularly in a phone, email, SMS or chat context
Ability to work remotely in the United states
Effective time management
Attention to detail and follow-through
Demonstrated ability to adapt in a changing environment,
Ability to multi-task within a fast-paced, high energy, dynamic and demanding environment
Demonstrated experience being a customer-focused, service-oriented professional
