Job Summary Collects, analyzes, monitors, and reports on the organization’s financial matters, managing and ensuring compliance with the organization’s financial policies, professional standards and all laws. Responsible for general accounting, fixed assets, accounts payable and expense reimbursement and revenue accounting (including accounts receivable). Job Responsibilities Responsible for general accounting activities including preparing journal entries, maintaining balance sheet schedules and ledgers, and preparing account and bank reconciliations. Maintains integrity of accounting information and systems, in accordance with standards and rules under GAAP, as well as other regulating bodies. Performs a range of assignments and may lead projects within own discipline. Applies working knowledge of business and best practices gained through understanding of key business drivers and recognition of how own area integrates within organization. Works within broad guidelines and policies to accomplish objectives and goals. Solves moderately complex to complex problems and analyzes possible solutions using technical experience, judgement and precedents. Explains complex and/or sensitive information in a straightforward manner. Acts as a resource for colleagues, provides guidance to less experienced team members. Individual contributor working with limited oversight. Performs all other duties as assigned by management. Education Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited four-year college or university. Experience Typically requires 2+ years of related work experience.
