February 7, 2024 Teck Alaska Incorporated, Red Dog Operations, one of the world's largest producers of zinc concentrate, is recruiting for a Human Resources Administrator/Recruiter Position will be based in Teck Alaska's Anchorage Office; work schedule will be Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Traveling to the Red Dog Mine as needed Reporting to the Human Resources Coordinator - Recruiting Responsibilities:

Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures Oversee the recruitment and selection process including: providing advice and assistance to hiring managers in determining requirements and ideal candidate qualities; preparing and placing job postings/advertisements for vacant positions; reviewing applications and conducting pre-screening interviews; scheduling on-site visits; conducting pre-employment testing for apprentices; participating in panel interviews; completing background checks; preparing verbal and written offers; confirming successful candidate acceptance; and informing unsuccessful applicants Administration of application process; coordination of travel arrangements for participants of program; scheduling of various presentations/opportunities with multiple departments within the property Inform applicants of current employment opportunities, position requirements, job duties, responsibilities, compensation, benefits, work schedules, company policies, etc. Establishes and maintains a resource pool of applicants for on-call employees available for immediate, temporary placement to meet operational needs Update and maintain the applicant tracking program to ensure accurate listings; notifications to applicants/candidates not selected for employment, the status of various postings and shareholder career skills databases including ad hoc reporting as needed Maintain a current working knowledge of all applicable legal requirements and government regulations impacting HR recruitment/employment activities through assisting with the review of policies, procedures (ex. Associate Degree (in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Development or related field), or equivalent combination of education and experience in lieu of a degree A minimum of three (3) years of HR experience which includes full cycle recruitment, employment matters, developing and conducting general orientations, general HR processing, developing and presenting reports, and general data analysis General knowledge of Labor and Employment Law is required Excellent oral and written communication, editing, organization and interpersonal skills required Able to work independently and as member of customer service oriented team.
