Description The Senior Accountant will play a pivotal role in managing financial activities and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will be working in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment where you will be relied upon for your expertise, professionalism, and collaboration. Responsibilities: Prepare timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Includes consolidation of international subsidiary. Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions in compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Perform detailed account reconciliations. Conduct variance analyses to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement. Monitor budget performance, investigate variances, and recommend corrective actions as needed. Work closely with Revenue Cycle Management team to ensure appropriate revenue recognition. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls. Prepare periodic tax filings, including business property, sales, and use and franchise. Assist with external audit and tax preparation requests. Other duties as assigned, determined by business need. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in the clinical laboratory industry. Strong understanding of GAAP, financial principles, and accounting practices. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Accumatica, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced MS Excel skills. Experience with billing and collection software (e.g., Xifin, Telcor, Quadax) preferred. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and generate actionable insights. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present financial information to diverse audiences. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. The ability to maintain confidentiality is critical. Experience with ERP system implementations preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
