Position Summary:

Accudata Accounting Advisors is seeking a Senior Tax Consultant to enhance our team. In this position, you will oversee the preparation and review of tax filings for affluent clients, including individuals, corporations, trusts, and estate tax returns. We prioritize a balanced work environment and are looking for professionals who thrive in a collaborative setting. Our firm employs a digital-first approach, and this role will require in-office presence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Examine and prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations to ensure compliance and facilitate tax planning.

  • Formulate tax strategies to assist clients in adhering to tax regulations.

  • Conduct financial projections and budget analyses.

  • Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and communicate relevant information to the team.

  • Guide, train, and mentor junior tax preparers.

  • Identify tax-related challenges and propose effective solutions.

  • Apply tax laws to maximize deductions for clients.

  • Prepare and submit tax documents to appropriate authorities.

  • Build and maintain client relationships to drive business growth.

Qualifications:
  • Preferred 10+ years of experience in a public accounting environment.

  • Minimum of 2 years in a managerial role.

  • Demonstrated client service and business development capabilities.

  • Strong leadership and technical proficiency.

  • Dedication to the firm’s growth and success.

  • Interest in mentoring less experienced staff.

  • Familiarity with tax preparation software.

Requirements:
  • Current CPA License in California or a Master’s Degree in Taxation.

  • Proficient in Lacerte Tax Preparation and QuickBooks Software.

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Salary up to $150K with performance-based bonuses and potential relocation assistance.
