Here's how a(n) Scheduling Manager for our Minneapolis office contributes to our team: Responsibilities

Oversees and reports on schedules for multiple smaller projects or one larger, complex project. Active in schedule development, construction planning process and project pursuits in collaboration with the superintendent and project manager. Reviews durations based on quantity and production factors and adjusts master schedule accordingly. Provides schedule risk analysis, reports outcomes to senior project management, and manages schedule updates. Postsecondary degree or diploma in construction management, engineering or a related discipline preferred. Applicable scheduling certification an asset. 8-10 years of progressive scheduling experience in construction or related field preferred. 4 years of experience in a supervisory role is an asset. Expert knowledge of construction specifications, building materials, methods and procedures, and the ability to read and understand construction drawings, specifications, contracts and proposal documents. In-depth knowledge of schedule requirements in the contract documents. Prior experience with field construction operations and how a project is constructed, including logical sequencing of work through all phases of the project from pursuit to project closeout. Ability to create solutions for complex engineering and planning principles to construction challenges. Thorough understanding of organizational strategies and practices with the ability to apply planning and scheduling principles to formulate and implement project best practices and techniques. Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate and present ideas and content that influence a favorable outcome. Ability to work independently or in a team environment with multiple stakeholders including estimators, field supervision, subcontractors, project team and clients. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing work (for self and others) under strict timelines and being flexible to changing needs. Evaluate and define processes and parameters to enhance and improve project planning and scheduling and awareness of district strategic plans.
