Institute Q problem solving expectations and methodology to supply base and enforce compliance. Ensuring supplier manufacturing process capability and control for select focus suppliers. Be an active participant in the cross functional warranty resolution activity within Hyster -Yale and aggressively pursue corrective actions to identified issues, and track and report progress. Interface with peer QE’s around the world to share “lessons learned” and ensure standardization of global practices. Successful achievement of the above activities and objectives will provide the individual assembly plant that the QE is assigned to with a sustainable competitive advantage through the combination of improved delivered parts quality and smooth new model introductions. Who you are: Position incumbent must be capable of working in a highly matrixed environment where several areas within the assigned assembly plant are responsible for Hyster-Yale product quality. Position must successfully motivate and influence peers in other functional areas to cooperatively participate in new supplier quality concepts and processes.
